I deleted the old scans to replace them with these, 16-bit high-resolution TIFFs as opposed to the old 8-bit, low-resolution JPEGs... It really does make a difference.

 

I also think I finally found settings that work for my B/W photos, which makes scanning them actually enjoyable.

 

 

I love comparing these to the Wrecked shots too. TriX and Rodinal vs. TMax 100 and HC-110. The difference in grain is staggering, but I have to admit to having a slight preference to TriX in this regard.
