Song Thrush - Turdus philomelos

A common species on the Scilly isles, resident birds are very tame compared to mainland UK. In autumn resident birds are supplemented by continental migrants. There were several feeding on Wingletang Down on this morning along with many other thrushes, suggesting that this may have been a newly arrived migrating bird.
