for my niece's 2nd birthday present. she is way into dolls (my daughter is more of a stuffed animals girl - the model is her one doll, a similar size) and the outfit that her doll came with is atrocious and poor quality. i thought it'd be fun to make some doll clothes for her, until i realized that doll clothes are pretty much the same amount of work as toddler clothes! oh well. did some good scrap-busting and she loves the present.
- dress (my own pattern, modeled after leila & ben's sweet little dress pattern without sleeve elastic: www.etsy.com/listing/63395202/sweet-little-dress-pattern-...
- skirt (modeled after the lazy days skirt with an extra layer of eyelet trim: www.oliverands.com/blog/2008/08/lazy-days-skirt-free-patt...
- pants (pattern made from the existing doll pants)
- also made a scarf, which is actually stuck to the back of dolly's dress and didn't make it into the photo (well, a tiny corner did, under her right armpit). woops. it's green fleece with a little cloud appliqued to it.
