Shot from the Broken bridge. The Adyar (அடயாரு - meaning dense river) runs west to east across the southern half of the city of Madras to meet the Bay of Bengal. Splitting the city's long (17-19 km long Marina) beach just south of San Thome.

Along its estuary, are buildings old and new. On one side, the Theosophical society and its gardens invite people to ponder or, well, just wander. On the other side, Old and New economy companies share offices and, as you can see, spread a little light in the night.
