66/365: Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata)
After yesterday's heavy six inches of snow (from the Snowquester storm), many thousands of folks were without power in Fauquier. The local birds took advantage of the seed I had placed outside when the snow stopped. Among the dozen or so species at the feeders today, a gang of Blue Jays, far more skittish than one would imagine, flitted from the bent cedars to the flat trays.
