An Evening in Kerry Park
An evening shot from Kerry Park in Seattle downtown has been in my list for the past one year. Last time I was in seattle, I was battling the fever from hepatitis, all delirious, exhausted and had barely made it back in one piece after a solo trip to Olympic National Park.
This time, I was lucky, well kind of... after all we just made it on time for the setting sun. There was no cloud cover, giving us a clear view of Mount Rainier. The problem with "just making it on time", as had become our norm in this trip, was that now you had very few spots to take a decent (i.e. stretch your tripod legs and all that) shot. So I was very grateful when I found a "hole" to peek my lens out of the crowd around me. The departing rays of sun lit up Mt. Rainier at the distance for an added bonus. In all that commotion I forgot to adjust the polarizer, so the mountain is not as clear (of haze) as I could have got it to be.
