Chestnut-tailed Starling

They seem to be in less numbers this year compared to previous. This pair was seen around a nice nesting hole in the tree which must have been made by a woodpecker or a Barbet. Good that they seem to be not facing competition from anyone. Else, if woodpecker, common mynas or Barbets like any tree cavity, these smaller birds stand no chance of owning it.

Update: a week later I find out that the woodpecker, who must have created the nesting cavity in first place is occupying it also. so the chestnut tailed starlings search continues.
