Inside Peat Church, Veenpark, Drenthe, Netherlands - 1527

The parish was dedicated to St. Joseph. Since 1874, the Peat Church served some 50 years, until it was too small for the number of churchgoers in Barger-Compascuum, the Netherlands.

This is what we saw during our Cycling holiday in Drenthe, the Netherlands, when we also paid a visit to the Paetmuseum (Dutch: Veenmuseum) in Vriezenveenseveld.
