The car has become my new office to write my novel.
A Room of One's Own by Virginia Woolf has never before meant as much to me as in this time.
I prefer to write at the library or in cafés, depending on my mood and ability to focus in these different settings on any given day. If in doubt, the library is always the safe bet.
I don't have a room of my own at the moment, and Covid hasn't made that easier because now I can't work in peace anywhere in our flat during the day. The car takes some time to get used to as a space to work in but when you find a good place to park, it is awesome and I got so much work done there in April and May.
