Top of mt. Ngungun (Glass House Mountains national park)

hike to the top of mount Ngungun is very popular - it is only 253m high ASL, nice rocks on the summit and gives an excellent view.

There are mt. Coonowrin and Mt.Beerwan seen in the distance.

Named by captain Cook during his voyage along Australia's east coast, the Glass Houses are the eroded remnants of volcanoes that were active ~ 25-27 million years ago.
