Linnet - Linaria cannabina

Another from my lockdown wanders around the Great Park.

 

Linnets have always been quite a flighty bird for me, rarely lingering long enough to lift the camera let alone take a shot.

 

This singing male from a gorse bush has given me the best shot I have of one so far
