Camel 4-ply - Close-up
Navajo 4-ply, in camel.
First, spin two singles. In mine, one is natural camel, the other is space-dyed camel in a "spice" colorway.
Then, instead of a straight 2-ply, Navajo ply one strand while carrying the other along. At the end of the loop, switch the strands by Navajo plying the carried-along strand through the loop. Works like a charm, if a bit fiddly to manage 4 strand plying (said by someone who mostly 2 and 3 plies!)
