Feeding Time, olive-backed sunbird
A pair of Olive-backed Sunbird had built a nest suspended from a fire fighting sprinkler. They'd had successfully raised a pair of offspring. Seen here was the female doing the feeding and picking up the baby's poo (the male does that too but at a lower frequency though) to be discarded away from the nest site so as not to attract the attention of potential predator and at the same time keeping the nest clean and parasite free. This behaviour is observed in most bird species which seem to suggest that it is hard-wired in them.
