Gwyddor Gymreig / Welsh alphabet

1/52 for the group T189ers weekly alphabet challenge

This week's theme: A is for Alphabet

The Welsh alphabet goes like this:

a, b, c, ch, d, dd, e, f, ff, g, ng, h, i, j, l, ll, m, n, o, p, ph, r, rh, s, t, th, u, w, y

Note that there is no q, v, x or z. Also, unlike in English, a double letter in Welsh counts as one single letter for the purposes of Scrabble and crosswords. The photo shows some of the Welsh Scrabble tiles and their scores.
