Mitred granny square

I didn't mean to start a new crochet WIP, but despite starting a new part-time teaching job the week after next, I still have to clear and prepare my Dad's bungalow for sale. There is a chair that I want to use in the small bedroom that was Dad's "office", but which doesn't look as good as it might. I thought the answer was to casually drape a pretty blanket over it, so this mitred granny square blanket has queue jumped in front of the other WIPs.
