3 abstracts tonight, nothing more nothing less, from my stay in London last weekend. They all make me feel pretty happy in their own way, and I'm pretty happy with each of 'em :)
2 - On the Sunday morning we met up with Mark Paulda, and he took us to one of his favourite places in all of London, the bombed-out and shattered remains of "St.Dunstan's in the East" church. After WWII, rather than demolishing or rebuilding it, the City of London Corporation shored it up, made sure it wasn't a danger to anyone, and turned the smashed outer shell of one of Wren's beautiful smaller churches into a public garden, leaving it as a permanent memorial and testament to the horrors wrought upon the poulation of London during the dark days of the Blitz.
Either way, it's a bugger of a place to shoot, with seriously difficult lighting conditions (particuarly when one didn't bring his tripod. Again...), so I started out by shooting this section of floor. I like it anyway :)
