Anscoflex II with yellow filter

The Anscoflex II, designed by Raymond Loewy (who also designed the Studebaker Hawk, the classic shaped Coke bottle, and lots of other cool things) is kind of a twin lens reflex, with an ingenious aluminum front door that slides up to reveal the lenses. It also opens the lid that covers the viewfinder in the same motion.

It has a built in yellow filter, which I am trying out here. It really works, as can be seen by the vignetting, as the filter doesn't seem to entirely cover the lens. It takes a surprisingly good image. My reflection in the window is amazingly clear when it is viewed large. Almost too good to be a toy.
