Clapper Rail

Rather elusive and shy but at the South Padre Island Birding Center one can see this species but even then one has to look. They are quick and they blend into the surroundings well. This one was making a ruckus though calling out for some reason. It seemed disturbed by something.

Bastante huidizo y tímido, pero en Centro de Observación de Aves de la Isla del Padre del Sur, se le puede ver. Aún así uno tiene que mirar cuidadosamente porque su coloración se mezcla muy bien con su entorno. Este rascón picudo hacía un alboroto acerca de no sé qué.Parecía molesto por algo.
