Old film with old cameras.
Kodak Tri-X @ EI 320, Expired 2008
D-76 home brew developer, 1+1, 1 days old mix
A wonderful surprise! I have plenty of Kodak Tri-X rolls, fresh and expired, and I decided to “waste” one of the rolls expired in 2008 with my lovely Rollei 35B and the exposure estimated exclusively by its very own selenium light meter.
As you can see, it has averaged the scene quite well and the still holding strong latitude of the expired film fitted it all. The wonderful tonality is due to the D-76 and the fine detail due to the grain structure of the Tri-X.
I love that little Rollei!
