Ruddy-capped Nightengale-thrush - Catharus frantzii (Turdidae) 115s-15704

Of the five species of Nightengale-thrush found in the highlands of Costa Rica, the Ruddy-capped is the most common. This one has caught a nice juicy Scarab Beetle to feed its ever-hungry young which are, no doubt, waiting in the nearby garden shrubbery.
