American Kestrel, Cuban form

Pineapple Fields / Eleuthera Island, The Bahamas

I took this photo from near the bungalow that my twin and I were staying during the 2 nights that we were at Pineapple Fields. Although this is an American Kestrel, the Cuban form is much paler than what is seen in the US. This form is common throughout The Bahamas and we were privileged to see it on all 3 islands that we visited: Abaco Island, Eleuthera Island and Andros Island.
