An Ill Wind
While this may not be the cream of the crop. I thought I'd get it out there.
This image came from a time when I was fascinated with extending the depth of cloudscapes through HDRi techniques. The result was horrible though and like Thursday's upload, I had to perform some edits to make it presentable.
It may be strange for me to say that I think my growth as a photographer is like the decrease in child mortality rates. When I was more novice, I would have shots that only had their composition going for them. Seeing as how I couldn't edit them as I can now, I would reject them and they would die in the recycle bin. NOW I have more of an eye for an image's potential and how it might be salvaged if, say, the exposure is off or something else. The technology and know-how I have now will prevent a lot more of my babies (images) from dying much like all the real babies of the world. The End.
We're having a potluck in the engineering department today. HOORAY!
