Farmer's Market Saint Paul MN

Saint Paul, Minnesota, has more diversity than people give it credit for. It is not just white populists anylonger, but a spectrum of cultures. The minority groups are still small in number and many are maginalized. The sizeable Hmong and Somali communities came mostly as refugees. To me, refugees making it in America is the quintessential 'Dream'. This photo is Minnesota's future and past in an instant. These kids probably have forgotten that this moment existed. It was just a summerday. Unlike the fruit and flowers around them, their beauty should last for ages.
