Tuesday Stroll # 13

27 November 2007 at 1:42 pm. The corner of Moorefield Road and St Loys Road N17.

Apart from this heap of about twenty rubbish bags, there was a smaller pile of bags and other trash on St Loys Road. (On the right, near the bridge.) There was also more dumping at the top of the brick wall on the railway land.

"Our Clean Sweep campaign really is going from strength to strength . . . . "

— Brian Haley, former Haringey councillor and 'Cabinet' Member for Environment and Conservation.

"And the bulldogs all have rubber teeth and the hens lay soft-boiled eggs."

— A line from the song Big Rock Candy Mountain. Click the link to listen to Burl Ives sing it on YouTube.
