Monument to Admiral Kolchak
Admiral Kolchak, a bright Arctic researcher, risk taker and later hero of the Russian-Japanese war, during the Civil war in 1918-20 was the commander-in-chief of so called White Army. Executed without a court near the location of the monument in 1920.
This is the first monument to a white army leader. Quite a few people in Irkutsk would say: who's monument next? Hitler?
