Since 1891, the world’s highest cog railway ascends Pikes Peak, 14,115 feet. The train winds past waterfalls, through aspen and pine forest.


With an average grade of 12%, the Pikes Peak Cog Railway climbs the 14,115 feet to the top of Pikes Peak Mountain on a special track, sometimes hitting a grade of 24%!
