Burning Man 2013 GPS Trace
Best viewed large.
I carried a AMOD AGL3080 GPS Logger with me to Burning Man this year. I attached it to my Camelbak using a carabiner and gaffer taped the ports so the playa dust wouldn't destroy it. It went through approximately 3 AAA batteries a day and recorded position every 5 seconds.
It output NMEA 0183 log files which I converted to GPX using GPS Babel. I overlayed these track points as layers on top of the iBurn 2013 project using TileMill. The font used for the street names is Cisalpin.
We camped with the WMICC: Organic Produce on the Playa camp at 3:00 and J.
