The Dawn of Neurosurgery
The Dawn of Neurosurgery: Rare Books from the Collection of Eugene S. Flamm, is the Sheridan Libraries' newest exhibition at the George Peabody Library.

Curated by Dr. Flamm himself, the exhibition features volumes from the 15th and 16th centuries related to early explorations and attempts to explore the human brain.

The exhibition opens October 20 at 2 pm with remarks from Dr. Flamm and a reception. The Dawn of Neurosurgery runs through March 2, 2014, and admission is free.

The Dawn of Neurosurgery runs through Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the George Peabody Library, 17 E. Mount Vernon Place, Baltimore, MD 21202.

The George Peabody Gallery is open Monday through Friday 9 – 5, Saturdays 9 – 1, and Sundays 12 – 5. Admission is free.
