A very 'beuhd' pronunciation

In Apple's Dictionary.app, setting the pronunciation format to "US English (IPA)" produces some pronunciations that are Just Plain Wrong. This has been there since the app was introduced in Tiger, and despite having been reported to Apple (according to this Mac OS X Hints thread), the error's still there in Leopard.

 

For those who are unfamiliar with IPA pronunciations, /bød/ is pronounced somewhat like "bird" without the "r". That's... not even close to what it should be (which, for the record, is /bæd/). Maybe if you're Inspector Clouseau, but not otherwise. And this seems to affect every single pronunciation involving the /æ/ sound.
