Ewart-Duggan House

the oldest remaining brick house in Alberta!It is done in a Victorian style and is thought to be the oldest brick house still standing in Alberta and the first brick house built in the Northwest. It was built in 1887 by John Ewart. That makes it 128 years old. He used about 60,000 bricks to build it the balcony makes it look a little like a ginger bread house. Medicine Hat, Alberta
