Coney Island Cyclone Roller Coaster

File under: "Roller coasters we completely underestimated".

The Cyclone Roller coaster on Coney Island, New York, is mostly made from wood. While this fact alone was sufficiently scary and intriguing, we weren't really sure whether to spend 8 Dollars on a ride, especially since it seemed so small and measly. Only the very short line enticed us to give it a try.

Oh boy were we surprised. I was grateful one attendant warned me to hold on to my glasses just before we started, because I would probably have lost them otherwise. It was truly spectacular!

Unfortunately, we missed a perfectly good picture opportunity, but hey, we can always come back! :)
