Lee Price

I'm typically not the kind of person who takes hitchhikers, and I'm not certain this scenario is precisely considered hitchhiking. I met Lee at the ranger station at the park entrance. He asked if I could give him a lift up the mountain to his truck. I had second thoughts, but he seemed friendly, and the rangers sort of gave me a reassuring look, and I decided "why not?"

 

He was a nice guy, and kept trying to talk me into earning my first high point. He also offered to give me $20 for the ride, which was nice, but I declined.
