Roosevelt Cross Country Heads to State
The Roosevelt High School girls' cross country team won their Class 4A qualifying meet and punched their ticket to compete in the State Meet on Friday, October 29 in Fort Dodge. The meet was held at Pickard Park in Indianola.

The Roughriders placed three runners in the top four, with Abi Hahn winning the individual title, Adrienne Buettner-Cable as runner-up, and Arianna Jackson in fourth.

Boys' and girls' cross country teams across the state are participating in state qualifying meets this week. Also running in Indianola was Lincoln High School. East and North both competed in Marshalltown while Hoover ran in Ankeny.
