Fenwick

We've been talking about adopting a cat from a shelter for a while now. We finally visited the Hinsdale Humane Society, where they have a lot of nice critters and a lot of nice folks, and where, incidentally, Morris the Cat of the Nine Lives dynasty was discovered.

When we went to look at their kitties, we were picturing going home with a little gray shorthair kitten or something. After "interviewing" a number of felines of assorted variety, we ended up choosing the most gi-normous, freakishly hairy cat in the whole place.

He is SO cool. He's extremely affectionate and well behaved, and trots around the apartment after us like a lhasa apso or something. We can't imagine a cat with a better personality. He's two years old, and by circumstance has been a two-time Humane Society resident. We're thankful to the counselor who recommended him (he's the cat formerly known as Sterling).

"Fenwick" is a family name. And he looks British, no? Leif says he goes with the place. ;)
