Fofurasfelinas kitty tips

Tip 18

Today I'm here with a very important tip.

When you notice ANY difference in your cat behaviour, you should check the vet IMMEDIATELY.

Letargy... dificulty to urinate... if he/she is not eating, not drinking water, showing any strange behaviour, signs of pain... any of these, anything that is not normal... MUST be checked.

Cats are very strong and they hide the symptons very well. So, sometimes when you decide it's time to take them to the vet, it's too late.

I'm wrinting this note in honnour to Tino's memory. He was a cat a of a dear friend in Flickr, that lost him to a very tricky disease. Was it his fault? Of course not. I almost lost my dear Goku to the same disease, and I had called the vet to check him.

The vet said he was ok but didn't take blood tests. One week later he had a conculsion, very very serious.

Well, it could be too late to save him.

So, I ask you all cat owners: get informed about kitty's health. You know, you don't have to be an expert, but you have to know enough to argue with the vet if necessary. So, please, search the internet... Get informed. It can be VERY useful.

Isa (Gato Prospero) added: even if your cat is healthy, don't skip annual check ups!!!
