20/10/2012 ~ Penshaw Monument

I've seen a couple of shots of Penshaw Monument in the pool this month but I failed to grab anything impressive whilst actually at the monument. However, we went for a family wander around the nearby Herrington Park and whilst there I took several shots of Penshaw Monument from a distance and this one I liked - there's something about the light that has added a pleasing sparkle.
