The biennial joint exercises--Juniper Cobra 10 and Juniper Falcon 11--
are part of a long-standing agreement between the US and Israel to hold bilateral training exercises on a regular basis. The exercises promote regional peace and stability, while also allowing each military to mutually learn from the other and enhance their interoperability. They are not associated with or in response to current world events.
