Hospital Reservist Unit Conducts Drill

The Home Front Command held an exercise at Bnei Tziyon Hospital in Haifa. The Army Hospital Reservist Unit participated in the exercise in collaboration with Magen David Adom,the Israel Fire Department and Bnei Tziyon Hospital Staff.
The purpose of the exercise was to simulate civilians being evacuated from their homes to the hospital during chemical warfare. Infected civilians are rushed through 3 different stations: 1. respiratory assistance, 2. disinfection, and 3. washing. The infected are then taken care of by the doctors inside the hospital.
