June 10 tasting
June 10th, 2014 The Green Table hosted GRGP for a talk and tasting of local grains.
Highlights included a tasting of flatbreads made with 5 different heritage wheat flours.
Peter Endriss of Runner & Stone, discussed his breads made with local flours, Roberta Strickler of Daisy Flours introduced Lancaster Red, a heritage wheat variety newly available from Daisy Flour, and June Russell of GRGP presented on the state of grains in the Northeast.
