Secret Street

I found the secret street in DC, full of Cherry Blossoms.

We spent an hour drivng from the Lincoln to 15th Street along Independence yesterday. Appparently, the waves of people and tourists were not bothering to stop for the light, and so only on every third light or so, after blaring their horns endlessly during the green, did cars make it through. The light closer to the Lincoln actually was manned by three police men.

We also stopped into Kenwood briefly. A few residents were walking about grumpy and giving the cars dirtly looks. Someone brought their convertible Rolls Royce through. And police were manning the interesections in and out of Kenwood.

But this street was empty, thank goodness.
