Regent Theatre, Brooklyn, NYC

The Regent Theatre opened sometime after 1915, it was certainly open by 1926. It is located at 1215 Fulton Street in the Bedford-Stuyvesant district of Brooklyn, New York City. The seating capacity was given as 560. It remained open until at least 1957, operated by Brandt Theatres. In later years it was re-named Slave #1 Theatre and continued screening movies as well as hosting event's for Black extreemists. It is currently (June 2006) closed and 'For Sale'.
