The Colours of Tirana, Albania
Everywhere you walk in TIrana you see colour and more colour. The mayor of the city, Edi Rama didn't want a grey post-communist city so it has become a colourful post-communist city. I can't complain: it's incredibly beautiful and makes even old concrete buildings turn alive and interesting.
This shot was taken on one of our long Friday walks around the city. There was a lot to see and we were again surprised by how friendly and helpful the locals were. Albania was a great place for tourism.
