Project 365 - Day 46
Ken Griffey Jr. has been my favorite baseball player since he started playing in Seattle in 1989. Since then (especially during the early 90s) I have been collecting his baseball cards. I now have quite a collection worth a few bucks.
His return to Seattle to play a three game series was quite a thrill. It was his first time back since he left Seattle after the '99 season. His homecoming was celebrated by many in Seattle. He hit two homeruns today that received standing ovations. How often does someone on the opposing team receive such appreciation?
My blog post: Griffey is welcome in Seattle any time.
