Entre Ventana Y Puerta by Oscar Ortiz
Public art sculpture situated a few hundred meters south of the U.S.-Mexico border. Created by Oscar Ortega in November of 2004, the title, "Entre Ventana Y Puerta" (Between a Window and a Door) refers to the coast (Tijuana doesn't have a port, only a "window" to the world) and the door refers to the United States border.

The piece stands as a monument to the culture of Tijuana: a mix of indigenous and modern symbols, a city of travelers, family struggle, international labor and commerce, and all of it trapped in a corner at the edge of the world.
