WHO Director General Dr. Tedros Ghebreysus

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreysus, director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO), visited NIH on Apr. 20, where he met with NIH leadership and signed a memorandum of understanding between NIAID and WHO to enhance future collaborations on research activities conducted in response to emerging infectious disease outbreaks and public health emergencies.
