WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS

As alluded to earlier, this store is in the middle of a construction site right now. The 80s-era Parkplace Center complex is being redeveloped into a new mixed-use development known as Kirkland Urban (website down at press time), with a fancy new QFC as the retail anchor tenant. The new QFC is supposed to open around this time next year, at which point this one will be torn down.

 

That all being said, I'm not sure how they thought a giant banner on the back of the store would be remotely helpful in drawing in shoppers...
