President Lorenzo Snow and the Twelve Apostles - 1898
A September 1898 group portrait of President Lorenzo Snow, his counselors, and the Twelve Apostles (Apostle Reed Smoot is missing from this photo). President Snow was 84 years old. It's interesting to note that Apostle Snow was sustained by the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as President of the Church on 13 September 1898, and he began serving as President; however he was not sustained as President of the Church until 9 October 1898 in General Conference, and he was not set apart as President of the Church until the following day. Photographer unidentified. Photo found in the LDS Church Archives.
