Reinventing the wheel
This ferris wheel appeared in Bristol's threatened Castle Park over Christmas. To the right are the ruins of St Peter's church.
"Castle Park is the oldest part of the city, with remains of the Saxon town, and the Norman castle still visible. Until bombed in the Blitz and flattened by later development, it was the commercial centre of the city. It has since become a much loved and much used green space in the centre of Bristol" - savecastlepark.co.uk
