Anti-Civil Rights flag

An anti-Civil Rights flag flies over a house in rural Kentucky. This should not be called or considered a Confederate flag. It is not. A genuine Confederate States flag would look quite different. For one, a genuine CSA flag would have a large swath of white.

This modern flag's design began to appear as a symbol against the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and '60s. This anti-Civil Rights flag looks most like the rectangular Confederate Navy Jack. But it is not quite the same. It looks similar to the square battle flag of Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia. But again, it is not quite the same. If remembering Confederate history is truly the aim (it obviously is not), one has to at least get the flag right.
