Overlooking Llanberis, North Wales. UK. Europe.

SCE_1423

Photographs taken on a trip to Llanberis on the 10th September 2012.

The waste heaps of the old slate quarries can be seen in the background and hides the Dinorwig electricity generation station, which is also named Electric Mountain.

Also some distant photographs of Dolbadarn Castle (through the trees) the home of the last Prince of Wales, Llewellyn ap Iorweth (13th century).

Also worth a visit is the Snowden Honey Farm located at the railway end of the village. Photographs of the variety of wines that can be tasted, and purchased!

Whilst in the village overnight a gathering of old lorries took over the car park before moving off the next morning.
